So after 2 months of flawless operation only on WiFi (do not use LAN!!!) again SGC(400V) fell into crazy mode.
1. Gets lost from WiFi network and can't even be found on the network.
(this alone wouldn't matter, it has happened to me in the past that I accidentally turned off my WiFi transmitter, but SGC performs tasks on electrical outlets further. After turning WiFi back on, SGC doesn't reconnect itself, I have to restart SGC manually - but its not this problem).
2. SGC stops controlling the power outlets. The worst part is that the light sockets keep running and don't care about the time setting! The electrical outlets on the other side(not the light) stop working altogether! Watering is also connected to them and that means death in 2 hours in press-aquaponia!!!
I encountered this same error when I had the SGC connected via LAN, unfortunately this error also occurs when connected via WiFi and thus the SGC cannot be relied upon. I do not overload the device in any way, so I also preferred to choose the 400V version of the SGC. The error sets completely randomly and is mostly fatal for me.
It has occurred 3 times in 3/4 years and cost around 30k euro in total, I am totally angry at SGC.
The only help I can think of is to turn on the Netwatch feature on the MikroTik router. When SGC goes down, it will notify me of this outage in an email. And I advise everyone to do this!
Hi... not nice, not nice.... I have 3pcs SGC over years now in the company, I had some issue with the connection exact how you describe mostly after a power-failure loosing the router for a while. But I have never sense to come to a complete stop, therefor it is hard to understand what exactly happens. Other clients suffered from a damaged SD card the computer could not write anymore and they needed a new card and Image. I will discuss this issue with the Engineers as soon they return from the holidays and come back to you. (with image I can help during the holiday alain.gressly[ad]g-systems[dot]eu)
